For over twenty-five years, Brian has represented U.S. and multi-national clients in their corporate matters, primarily on business transactions, such as mergers/acquisitions, business formation and structure, contract negotiation, real estate, debt/equity issuance and shareholder/employee agreements. Prior to joining Kupfer., he was the founder Evergent Law, which is listed in the Best Law Firms in America – Colorado for Corporate Law and is the exclusive Mergers and Acquisitions and Real Estate firm in Colorado for the IR Global legal network. Brian leverages his broad experience in business as an active entrepreneur in providing advice and counsel to clients. He is the founder of Watson Ltd., a back-office administrative support company, providing paralegal and other accounting support to law firms across the country and a co-founder of On Call Cyber Ltd., a provider of cyber breach response services to companies. He also formerly served as General Counsel to a land and water development company in Colorado.

Brian received a B.S. in Business Administration (Accounting) from the University of Colorado at Boulder and his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado, School of Law. He has been a frequent speaker/presenter on mergers/acquisitions, international business and other corporate transactional subjects. Brian is currently listed in Best Lawyers in America – Colorado for Corporate Law and was previously recognized as one of the "Forty Under 40" by the Denver Business Journal and a three-time "Rising Star" by SuperLawyers Magazine. Brian is a movie buff, political and history nerd and hopelessly optimistic Colorado Buffalo sports fan. Prior to attending law school, Brian served as a Legislative Correspondent to a U.S. Senator in Washington D.C.
